The Symptoms of Evil Eye & How to Remove Evil Eye

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,

Black magic is not much of a problem; it’s the evil eye that is the biggest problem. Our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said in a hadith:

This means that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) has already decided one’s fate, however evil eye will be the major cause of death of the Ummah. Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stated that evil eye can lead a man to his death and a camel to the cooking pot, and that it can cause a man to fall from a mountain, because when someone falls off a bike, the cause is usually evil eye.

Furthermore, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said that “Nothing in the world can change what is written in ones fate, and if there was to be anything in this world that could change fate, the only thing would be the evil eye”.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stated in a hadith:

This means that evil eye is haq; the shayateen make it appear and it happens due to human jealousy.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) also stated:

This means that one should ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) from the protection of evil eye because evil eye is haq. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said that most evil eye can murder a person. A event that took place in the days of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is when a Sahaba Salih ibn (رضي الله عنه) was sitting with his kurta off and another Suhaba Aamir ibn rabeea (رضي الله عنه) looked at him and said “Your body is more beautiful than of a womans”. After a while the Sahaba developed a temperature, so they took him to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) whom asked “Did anyone look at your body and say something?” The Sahaba answered positively, so the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked “Who was it?” The Sabaha replied “Aamir ibn rabeea (رضي الله عنه)”. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to call him. When the Sahaba came, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) “Why do you want to murder your brother with your evil eye? When you looked upon him, why did you not give him dua of blessings? Why did you not say MashaAllah and why did you not say BarakAllah that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) gives you more?”

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said:

“Why would any of you kill your brother?” The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) meant that don’t cause the affliction of evil eye on your brother, and instead say MashaAllahu Laa Quwatta Illa Billah.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) also said that “You cannot enter jannah if you do not become a person of faith and you cannot become a person of faith if you don’t change your habits to have love in your heart, so I will tell you how to develop the love in your heart. You need to greet each other with salaam”.

Coming back to the the Sahaba Aamir ibn rabeea (رضي الله عنه). There was 32 Sahaba, whom were always in the company of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Their hearts were very clean, and our aqeedah of the Sahaba is that:

This means that if the entire world’s ullamah are put together, they would not be equal to one Sahaba; this is our aqeedah. Today, the biggest concern is that we don’t give salaam; it has become a lesser occurrence in our daily lives.

When the Sahaba had praised one another, they did not do it because they were jealous or had jealousy in their heart, but instead what they said was quickly used by the devil and the Sahaba became involved in this evil eye situation. The treatment for this was that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) called Aamir ibn rabeea (رضي الله عنه) and made him do wudhu. The water from the wudhu was saved in a bowl, and then the water was poured over the Sahaba with the affliction of evil eye and that is how they were cured.

The treatment I am providing here is one of the easiest Quranic methods in order to remove evil eye and overcome the symptoms associated with Nazar-e-Bad. This sort of treatment can be done when you know the person who has given you the evil eye. However, if you don’t know the person who has given evil eye or if there are numerous people who may have given you the evil eye, then the treatment for that is to fill half a bucket of water, stand outside the bathroom whilst putting both hands in the bucket and recite 7x durood shareef, 7x surah fatiha, 7x ayatul kursi, 7x the four kul, 7x durood shareef.

All these things must be read seven times each and then the person must bathe with this water. If a person is very ill due to affliction from the evil eye, then they must do this procedure for twenty one days nonstop. When one feels better and are cured, they should still do this procedure and bathe in the water at least once week.

Evil eye is very common in today’s age because no-one says MashaAllah, no-one says BarakAllah, and no-one gives dua of blessing. When one tells someone that they have got the job, the reply is always “Very good very good” but they will never say MashaAllah or BarakAllah.

The biggest problem for affliction of evil eye is that we think that telling other people about our jobs or business is not a big thing. However, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stated that in a hadith, regarding an ayah mentioned in the Quran, Yaqoob (عليه السلام) had ten sons and they were going to Egypt to meet Yusuf (عليه السلام). They had been to Egypt, so this would be their second visit. Their Father Yaqoob (عليه السلام) said:

“Oh my sons, don’t enter the gates of Egypt all at once, enter from separate gates into Egypt.” All the scholars believe that Yaqoob (عليه السلام) said this because he had thought about the affliction of evil eye.

Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said:

“Keep your blessings a secret to achieve your full potential. Stay away from talking about having pride in your earnings, wealth or business. Control yourself and control your emotions.”

Every person with blessings is afflicted with evil eye. People are full of jealousy and they are living all around us. Try to keep your blessings a secret as much as you can. In fact, one of my close friends said not to ask anyone to pray, because it can be that they will not pray for you but give you evil eye instead.

When woman even sit together they talk about their house affairs, what they cooked, what they bought and how they spent time with their family. This can all lead to evil eye because the other woman listening will not say MashaAllah and slowly one will be afflicted with evil eye.

The majority of problems are caused by evil eye, but most people would say that evil eye is nothing and that it is a very small issue. However, what they don’t know is that the evil eye invites black magic and jinn. We are the cause of the evil eye, that’s why one should conceal their blessings from others.

The symptoms of affliction of the evil eye are weakness in the body, no appetite, temperature, gas and bloating, crying or feeling depressed, restlessness in the heart after Asr till midnight, yawning with tears, laziness, dizziness, feeling sick, palpitations, headaches, body aches and pain, not praying Salah, not doing zikr, not wanting to socialise with family and friends, loss of hair (women), loss or bankruptcy of business, not able to manage time and not enjoying your work. If you have any of these symptoms, then you should follow the procedure above to cure you from the evil eye. You will notice a big difference In Shaa Allah.

I know so many people afflicted with evil eye. A close friend of mine who is well known and has been all around the world has never stopped the bathing for the evil eye or ruqaya for the healing of the evil eye and he says that “Molana so many doors that were closed before have opened for me”.

So the real issue is the evil eye. Sometimes it can be that we afflict our own selves with evil eye, when we take pride in ourselves. The bigger illnesses in this world are caused because of the black magic, jinn and evil eye. The cause of heart attacks is evil eye and diabetes is caused by evil eye. There are only 5% of true diabetics in the world, whilst the rest is caused by affliction of evil eye and some of those people have been cured from the Quran. I have a friend who was going for a heart operation and his arteries were blocked due to evil eye. We don’t even realise that most of the illnesses are due to evil eye.

When you have bad thoughts, they are mostly due to evil eye. I have a Mufti friend who has a son whom does not listen to his parents and wants to live his life his own ways. So, when the parents came to me, I told them that both parents need to do wudhu and  collect the water for the child to bathe in every morning. After a week, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) had given the child a cure.

Another similar event happened when someone’s child was ill and they took him to the doctors for three years without being able to find a cure. Finally, when they brought him to the amil, he read some Quran and asked the child what he could visualise whilst his eyes were closed. The child replied that he could see his father, to which the amil asked the father if he had every praised his child. The father replied yes to praising his child in front of others, so the amil told him to do wudhu and bathe the child in that water. Soon after this procedure, the child was cured.

Most recently, there was a Qari Sahib in my madrassa who came to me with a persistent cough. I told him to carry out the evil eye bath procedure and after that he was cured. This shows that the majority of these major illnesses are from evil eye.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said that treat yourself from the Quran for your illnesses. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) further stated that their will be 70,000 people from my Ummah that will enter Jannah without any questions asked. The Sahabah asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) who will those people be? The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) replied:

“They will be the people from my Ummah who will not perform ruqyah with wrong intentions. So, one Sahaba asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) to do dua that he would be one of those people, to which the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) replied “You are amongst those people.”
