Fabricated Hadith Regarding The First Jumuah of Ramadan

Fabricated Hadith Regarding The First Jumuah of Ramadan

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,

My dear brothers & sisters, there is one particular post which is being circulated at the moment in regards to the first Jummah of Ramadan. I have also received this message, which states that the individual who reads the first Kalimah, for fourty times, on the first Jummah of Ramadan will get the reward of one complete Hajj. Furthermore, it states that the individual who shares this message and makes others read this will also get the reward of two complete Hajj. This statement is completely fabricated, and there are many similar fabricated Ahadith being shared at different times of the year, such as Hajj etc.

In the Muqadamah of Muslim Shareef, Hazrat Ali (رضي الله عنه) narrated that Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stated that:

من كذب علي متعمدا فليتبوأ مقعده من لنار

“The one who tells lies using my name will have a place specifically reserved for them in the fire of Jahannam.” So, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) will reserve them a place specifically in Jahannam for using His name to spread lies.

Therefore, this is a very serious issue going on at the moment, and this message is being shared on many social media platforms, using the name of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Be careful, as the one who posts this Hadith will be under the category of fabricating lies by using the name of Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).

On a final note, please ensure to check and validate any Hadith before posting it – even if it states a specific Hadith at the bottom of a statement, be sure to check with your Scholars to ensure that the Hadith is correct and the complete truth before sharing it.

JazakAllah Khairun.
